Lucy! Thank you so much for writing this. I had written an article titled “ being humble is key" in the context of anxiety; how writing publicly forced me to always check myself / understand someone else pov before making assumptions. But I realised in the West it means something completely different because POC are always being told to humble themselves on the expense of someone else. 🤍
